\u00a0\"medium_1804744123\"<\/a>As a result of hosting the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Olympics, the Air Freight industry in Brazil will experience significant growth. Due to these two events, it is predicated that in each of the next five years, Brazil\u2019s airfreight imports from America and total airfreight industry will rise by a significant percentage. These growth projections are derived from an increase in demand for consumer electronics and the rising spending levels of Brazil\u2019s middle class. Because of these predicted significant increases in Brazil\u2019s airfreight, a number of airlines are either expanding their services or adding routes to this particular location. Brazil also hopes this growth will stimulate and create additional cargo paths.<\/p>\n

\u00a0In order to be able to host these two events, Brazil had to convince several planning committees that their transportation infrastructure would be able to handle the extra volume. Since Brazil learned they are hosting these two events, they started the process of building additional roads and refurbishing existing roads, railways, airports and shipping ports.<\/p>\n
