Despite the knowledge that the BIS [Bureau of Industry &amp; Security] was investigating this transaction and had advised that the shipment could not go to Iran &#8211; directly or indirectly; Hetrun, at the direction of Oertmann,\u00a0continued with this conspiracy.<\/p>\n<p>Helmut Oertmann received a sentence of 12-months probation.
