Starting with the concerns before negotiations started with PMA and union:\u00a02014 Pending West Coast Dock Strike<\/a><\/p>\n

The talks begin: West Coast Port 2014 Contract Talks to Begin May 12th<\/a><\/p>\n

In addition to the talk of congestion and congestion surcharges, the contract deadline [July 1st] passes: WC Ports: No Contract but NO STRIKE!<\/a><\/p>\n

But\u00a0Congestion at Los Angeles-Long Beach Ports<\/a> and later [October] No Contract Yet \u2013 Labor Slowdowns Adding to Congestion?<\/a><\/p>\n

As congestion increases and negotiations finally resume after the Thanksgiving holiday, by mid-December PMA presents an offer West Coast Ports: Contract Offer<\/a>, then December 22, the PMA asks for Federal Mediation,<\/a> but the Conflict Continues<\/a>….<\/p>\n
