\"ACE<\/a>ACE – 3 More Mandatory Use Dates<\/p>\n

Per\u00a0CSMS #16-000564<\/a>\u00a0– An\u00a0Updated ACE Development\/Deployment Schedule.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ACE Development and Deployment schedule provides details concerning delivery of all trade processing capabilities in ACE by the end of 2016. A change log is included with the updated development\/deployment schedule.<\/p>\n

Key changes include:<\/p>\n

\u2022 August 27, 2016 \u2013 Mandatory use of ACE for filing electronic Protests<\/p>\n

\u2022 October 1, 2016 – Mandatory use of ACE for all remaining electronic portions of the CBP cargo process (including Duty Deferral, Drawback, Reconciliation, Collections and Liquidation)<\/p>\n

\u2022 TBD 2016 \u2013 Mandatory use of ACE for electronic filing of remaining Partner Government Agency (PGA) data<\/p>\n

As a reminder\u00a0on\u00a0July 23,\u00a0filers will also be required to file in ACE and no longer permitted to file in ACS the following transactions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/td>\nElectronic entries and<\/strong> corresponding entry summaries, associated with the following entry <\/strong><\/strong>types:<\/p>\n
    \n
  • 02 – Consumption \u2011 Quota\/Visa<\/li>\n
  • 07 – Consumption \u2011 Antidumping\/Countervailing Duty and Quota\/Visa Combination<\/li>\n
  • 12 – Informal \u2011 Quota\/Visa (other than textiles)<\/li>\n
  • 21 – Warehouse<\/li>\n
  • 22 – Re\u2011Warehouse<\/li>\n
  • 31 – Warehouse Withdrawal Consumption<\/li>\n
  • 32 – Warehouse Withdrawal \u2011 Quota<\/li>\n
  • 34 – Warehouse Withdrawal – Antidumping\/Countervailing Duty<\/li>\n
  • 38 – Warehouse Withdrawal \u2011 Antidumping\/Countervailing Duty & Quota\/Visa Combination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

    The implementation of these capabilities through ACE means that the filing of all electronic entries and corresponding entry summaries must be filed in ACE.\u00a0 System validations will be in place to reject the following transactions in ACS:<\/p>\n

    • Electronic entries and corresponding entry summaries (Entry types 01, 02, 03, 06, 07, 11, 12, 21, 22, 23, 31, 32, 34, 38, 51 and 52)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      >><\/strong>Effective July 23, 2016, FCC data is no longer required and will no longer be accepted on ACE transactions. All transactions submitted with FCC data will be rejected in ACE.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
