Will US Import Growth Reach Standstill by Summer?

containers at portBased on a report, in part, from the National Retail Federation, the import cargo at ports could slow to a standstill this summer. During two of the busiest summer months, the growth is expected to be flat.

Though May is expected to post an increase of over 3% from last year, the economy is expected to slow it’s recovery. Retailers are cautious about inventory levels.
