Early July is usually uneventful anyway because it is a heavy vacation week. On the other hand, if negotiators are far apart on key issues, they may let the no-strike clause expire.[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.joc.com\/port-news\/longshoreman-labor\/international-longshore-and-warehouse-union\/industrys-fingers-crossed-ilwu-talks-proceed_20140611.html\">JOC<\/a>]<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>Agriculture Transportation Coalition warns, in a\u00a0letter to both sides,\u00a0that a port shutdown due to failed contract negotiations would be devastating in the short-term.
