However, these changes\u00a0do not lift the U.S. economic embargo against Cuba but do allow additional trade-related activities.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0revisions\u00a0to the Cuban Embargo include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Travel<\/li>\n<li>Travel services<\/li>\n<li>Remittances<\/li>\n<li>Credit and debit cards, per diem, and importation of certain goods and services<\/li>\n<li>Certain micro-financing, business, and commercial import activities<\/li>\n<li>Certain financial transactions<\/li>\n<li>Regulatory interpretation of \u201ccash in advance\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Telecommunications<\/li>\n<li>and more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.treasury.gov\/resource-center\/sanctions\/Programs\/Documents\/cuba_faqs_new.pdf\">FAQ&#8217;s<\/a>\u00a0or Cuban Assets Control Regulations in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.federalregister.gov\/articles\/2015\/01\/16\/2015-00632\/cuban-assets-control-regulations\">Federal Register<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Relaxed Trade Toward Cuba &#8211; Effective January 16, 2015 The recently revised regulations\u00a0implementing recent changes in U.S. trade and other policies toward Cuba became effective on January 16th.
