This is a significant indicator that the congestion is easing.<\/p>\n<p>From JOC:<\/p>\n<p>The largest U.S. port complex is not out of the woods yet, however, as the vessel arrival schedule provided by the Marine Exchange of Southern California showed two container ships scheduled to arrive at anchor later on Thursday, one on Friday, none on Saturday and one on Sunday. Another 12 container ships are scheduled to arrive at\u00a0berth over the next four days.<\/p>\n<p>Los Angeles &#8211; Long Beach has suffered through congestion issue for almost one year now. The problems\u00a0began with the brutal winter of 2013-14 in the eastern half of the continent, when intermodal\u00a0rail services in the U.S. and Canada broke down and container backlogs developed at all West Coast ports.<\/p>\n<p>To read more: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.joc.com\/port-news\/us-ports\/port-los-angeles\/no-ships-anchor-southern-california-ports-congestion-eases_20150430.html\">JOC <\/a><\/p>\n<p>The air freight impact as a result of the west coast port congestion is easing as well.
