However, February\u2019s performance, was skewed\u00a0 positively\u00a0by the both\u00a0the timing of the Lunar New Year and the labor dispute at US West Coast seaports.<\/p>\n<p>The year over year\u00a0air freight performance for the first\u00a0quarter of the year indicates growth of 5.3%.<\/p>\n<p>From Tony Tyler, IATA&#8217;s Director General and CEO:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe air cargo industry is on a solid but unspectacular growth trend.
