Good news for C-TPAT members who are also exporters. The exports by C-TPAT members will receive expedited customs clearnace in the EU. This final phase (implemented on January 31, 2013) allows reciprocal benefits for C-TPAT members when exporting to EU member states and AEO members exporting to the US.
The goal of these arrangements is to link the various international industry partnership programs, so that together they create a unified and sustainable security posture that can assist in securing and facilitating global cargo trade.
