Saudi Arabian Airlines Increases Options
Saudi Airlines has always been a strong partner for any company with freighter service needed to or from the Middle East, and that proved true with their announcement of additional freighter stops to come in 2013.
Saudi Airlines Cargo will add additional flights to selected routes in its existing freighter schedule, effective from March and April.
The new schedule will include one additional weekly B747 freighter from Dhaka, Bangladesh, to Frankfurt, Germany, bringing the total number of freighter flights to four from Dhaka.
While this additional flight might not directly help us here in the US, it shows their continued commitment to offering freighter options for the Middle East. Now we can only hope that this will be reflected in the rates Saudi Arabian Airlines can offer to customers, because without this in the current market they will likely not fill up these flights and this will just go away.
