U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Nigeria signed a Customs Mutual Assistance Agreement (CMAA), which
is an important achievement in cooperation between the two countries.
The bilateral agreement is a valuable tool for CBP and U.S. Immigration and
Customs Enforcement (ICE) in cooperation with the Nigeria Customs Service to
prevent, repress, and, investigate customs offenses.CBP and ICE have used bilateral CMAAs as a valuable part of law enforcement

CBP and ICE currently have 66 CMAAs with other countries.
