IMPORTERS: Meetings to Discuss Progress on Trade Modernization and Facilitation

U_S__Customs_and_Border_Protection_logoU.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) participated with the Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations (COAC) on May 22.   The meeting discussed the importance of expanding public private partnerships and modernizing trade processes.

Business transformation includes: Automation, mobile technology, and trusted trader and traveler program.

FOR IMPORTERS: Based on the COAC (Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations) document, the CBP is proposing the consolidation of ISA and C-TPAT as well as other trade initiatives that are part of the Trusted Trader program. For more information on this report:  COAC Document
