Information is from Shipco.com:
The Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach are experiencing extreme congestion. This is causing containers in some cases to be delayed for days. Truckers are missing appointment times due to the congestion and often have to leave without getting the designated container.
Besides congestion we are also seeing chassis shortages and expect further issues as we get closer to the ILWU Negotiations deadline.
Everything is being done with the truckers and CFS’ to get our designated containers delivered and devanned in a timely manner.
Here at Superior Freight, we are starting to see delays ranging from 4 -14 days for inbound shipments and no reported delays for outbound shipments at this time. If you have any questions, please contact us at superior@supfrt.com or 800.298.4305.
