Exports: Free Webinar Series Continues “Introduction to the 600 Series ” on June 25th
As part of the International Trade University (free) webinar series the next class:
BIS 601: Introduction to 600 series
This course focuses on the 600 series. A guest instructor from the Bureau of Industry and Security will explain the 600-series Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN).
On Thursday June 25th at 2:00 pm (ET) and scheduled for 1 hour. Log-in details for these FREE webinars will be available 24 hours prior to each event at census.gov/mso/www/training/.
The 600 series is part of Export Control Reform initiative:
Items that are now defense articles but that are no longer listed on the revised USML categories will become subject to the EAR’s “600 series” ECCNs. Licenses from Commerce will still be required to export and reexport most 600 series items worldwide (minus Canada), unless an EAR license exception is available.
