After Exporting Conviction – Denial of Export Privileges
From United States Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry & Security:
In 2014, Paweena Pechner was convicted of violating the AECA (Arms Export Control Act). Pechner knowingly and willfully caused to be exported from U.S. to Thailand firearms, which are listed on the Unites States Munitions List, without having obtained a license or written approval from the U. S. Department of State for these defense articles.
Pechner was sentenced to probation for two years, assessed a penalty of $600 and fined $3,000.
As a result, Pechner was issued a denial of export privileges order for a period of 10 (ten) years and all licenses issued are revoked. Per the EAR, export privileges may be denied to any person who has been convicted of a violation of the EAA, EAR, of any order, any regulation (etc.).
In addition, the denial order of export privileges for 10 (ten) years has been issued to the related person (parties) CheapShop4You LLC in order to make the denial applicable to other persons related to the respondent.
