A Texas company, RHDC International, LLC, will pay a civil penalty of $9,000 to settle charges from The Bureau of Industry & Security (BIS) that it committed five violations of the antiboycott provisions of the Export Administration Regulations.

The allegations involved transactions involving the sale and/or transfer of goods, services, or information to Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

The BIS charged the company with five counts of failing to report its receipt of requests to take action that would have the effect of furthering or supporting a restrictive trade practice or unsanctioned foreign boycott.

If the company fails to pay the civil penalty in a timely manner its export privileges may be suspended for one year.
