
Two explosions in Bangkok aimed at anti-government protesters leave 28 hurt.
A crisis in October that that triggered anti-government protests about the proposed amnesty bill that would have pardoned Thai politicians Abhisit Vejjajiva Suthep Thaugsuban over murder charges and former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra. The bill could have made it possible for Thaksin, brother of the current prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra, to return to Thailand after a self-imposed exile without facing a corruption conviction. After opposition from both the Democrat Party and the pro-government RedShirt movement the bill was rejected unanimously.
It is unclear who is behind the current unrest.
