Export: FTR Changes Now Available for Test

Effective March 26, 2014, the FTR related updates to AESDirect are available for testing in AESDirect test (education) accounts. If you are registered as an EDI or WebLink vendor or as an EDI Filer with AESDirect, you are eligible to take advantage of this testing

The FTR updates include:

–      Addition of the “Ultimate Consignee Type” data element

–      Addition of the “License Value” data element

–      Updating the length of the “Foreign Trade Zone” data element from 5 to 7 characters and changes to the valid format

NOTE:  AESDirect will no longer automatically determine whether EEI should be filed as “Option 2” or “Option 4”.

These updates will become live for production filing on April 5^th, 2014.
